Donate Your Old Phone

Communication is the key to survival for many of the refugees arriving in Europe.

It can be the difference between life and death when traveling on the dangerous seas in the dark of night to Greece and it is the only way for displaced families to keep in touch with loved ones.

Sadly many phones get lost at sea, broken and reluctantly sold to feed their families.

This can mean the refugee is not receiving essential information on their asylum process or keeping family members informed of their movements, particularly for minors traveling on their own.

At Dahlia Foundation we want your old phones, we are looking for;

  • Working smart phones with chargers
  • Broken smart phones
  • Any old phones

We will distribute your working phones to refugees living in Europe, we will repair any broken screens and include them in our distribution.

For any broken and non smart phones, we will sell them and use the money to support other ongoing Dahlia Foundation initiatives.

If you would like to donate your phone, please fill out the form and we will send you a stamp addressed envelope to return the phone to us.

In February 2016, We met this gentleman from Aleppo who was travelling with his wife and 2 daughters under the age of 5.  We bought their tickets for the boat to Athens and provided some money to help him continue his journey through Greece. The dolls were donated by my 4 year old daughter.
